Step 2: Create Your AI Agent in Activepieces (Using Natural Language)

• Go to your dashboard and select Agents on the left side
• Click on New Agent
• Give your Agents a name and description
• Type in your instructions
• Add your tools

Example Instructions for Content Curator AI Agent:

You are an expert content curator and email newsletter specialist. Your primary goal is to analyze news articles, summarize them concisely, identify their relevance to specific audience segments (e.g., "Tech Enthusiasts," "Marketing Professionals," "Small Business Owners"), and generate engaging, personalized email snippets for each segment.

When summarizing an article, focus on:

• The main topic and key takeaways.

Step 3: Building the Automation Flow in Activepieces

Now, let's create the flow that utilizes our newly built AI agent.

1. Create a New Flow

Go back to your Activepieces dashboard and click on

Flows > Create Flow > From Scratch.

2. Choose a Trigger

This is what starts your automation. For this flow, common triggers include:

• RSS Feed: To monitor industry news blogs and publications.
• Webhooks: If you have another system sending you article links.
• Schedule: To run the curation process at a set interval (e.g., daily, weekly).

I used an RSS feed for this example.

If you want to use RSS as well:

• Click on Select Trigger
• Search for the RSS Feed piece and select New Item in Feed or New Items in Multiple Feeds trigger.

• Input the RSS feed URLs of your preferred industry news sources.

3. Add ChatGPT Step

This step is used to analyze data from the RSS feed, summarize the content in the feed, and provide detailed information on the category of audience that would find the content valuable, depending on your company, industry, or services.

To use the ChatGPT step

• Click on the plus (+) sign beneath your trigger and search for OpenAI, then select the Ask ChatGPT action

• Enter your OpenAI API key and select your preferred model
• Enter your question or prompt

4. Add Audience Analysis (ASK AI)

You can either choose to add ChatGPT, the native AI pieces on Activepieces, or any other AI in this step. It helps you to output the result of the audience analysis. I used the native AI pieces.

5. Add Your AI Agent

Here, you add your AI agent and give it a prompt. The AI agent takes the details from the analysis in ChatGPT and creates a personalized newsletter relevant for that target audience, creates a document then adds it to a folder in Google Drive.

Step 4: Test and Publish Your Flow

Ensure you test all steps. Once everything is working smoothly, publish your Activepieces flow. Your AI agent will now be autonomously curating content and sending personalized newsletter drafts to you
